QUOTE (tinman01 @ Mar 19 2010, 08:14 PM) Congrats on the rifle. Ever consider a CETME? HK-91 performance for a lot less. It is just about dead on the gun clan. Sad it was busting for a while.I have a CETME already, I don't like it. Pics of it are on the previous page.Next rifle I want to pick up is either an FN SCAR, a Robinson XCR, or a Romanian PSL. I'm pretty sure I'll probably end up with the PSL though since it's world's cheaper than the other two.
QUOTE (slomofo @ Mar 19 2010, 10:31 PM) The Bulgarian AK arrived today, looks pretty nice, doubt I'll shoot it though. I'm changing that furniture out ASAP. nice solid rifle for SHTF. my hungarian ak 47

Jeez, what happened to this place? It's dead in here. I just stopped by to tell you guys that Bulgarian AK-74s are on sale at CFS for $349.99 shipped!!!!! The link is below: I forgot this site existed, otherwise I would've given the heads up a few days ago when they were in stock. As of now, they're out of stock, but if you order, they'll ship it out on the 15th. I tried to order two, but it wouldn't let me, so I guess it's limited to one only.
Finished off the FDE, kind of. I picked up a Colt M4 SOCOM heavy barrel 1:7 twist, but the barrel nut wouldn't clear a Noveske KX3 flash hider, so I had to improvise with an old throwaway flash hider that came off of an 11.5" 7.62x39 upper. This flash hider is permanently attached to make the rifle NFA legal, but I'll change it out when the new one arrives in two weeks. I gotta stock up on some 75gr. ammo now that I went with the 1:7 twist barrel.
Decided to do some paintwork and went OD green all the way on the lower. I've got another AR coming in next week, thinking of painting it white. I'll probably pick up one of these cheapy uppers to complete the white one:
Nice collection guys!! I'm planning to do damage so I picked up this C16WX 2010 for self protection. Bullies wont pick on me no more, brap!
QUOTE (sks88 @ Jan 16 2010, 11:23 PM) wow what a great arsenal ^^^^^^^^ i think im drooling uncontrollably right now..lol jk LOVEEEE YOUR yugo sks rifle you have there and that remington 870 =]gottta love those yugos, but the alby sks would still have to be my fav out of all of them ROFL Man you are insane but I love your collection....
ACR coming out in March, but its by bushmaster wtf?
SKS is my favorite firearm of all time, I put about 10,000rds a month through one of my Yugos every summer. I want to pick up a Norinco SKS-D and an SKS-M that take AK mags, one with a regular stock and the other thumbhole, but prices have gone up so high that I'm debating whether or not to even look for one. If the LOP on the HK91/CETME wasn't so freakin short, I'd probably put those rifles up into my favorites spot, but I can't stand shooting them. Even though I hate them, I'm still pickin up another HK91 variant to add to the collection, because it'll be nice to have when they're all gone.

Hmm... forgot about this forum. I've been gone for about eight months, guess I'll update. I picked up this CETME, but it was stolen two weeks ago. it's a shame it was stolen because I never got to fire it.Somewhere in August, I had to go to wal-mart because they were the only place open (I normally don't shop at wal-mart). Well I saw this camo Remington 597 and decided to pick it up. I picked up another Mosin M44 and liked the camo on the 597 so much that I decided to make a camo M44 because my safe is already cluttered with multiple boring wood Mosins.I ended up ricing it out a little bit with an AK74 muzzle brake and bipod, but it can still be converted back to original if need be. On Black friday, d!ck's Sporting goods was having a sale, Remington 597 OD Green w/scope pkg for $149, so I decided to grab one. While in there, I saw that they had the camo version for $99.99, so I got another one of those as well. I don't like to have black sheep in my flock, so I built this OD Green AR-15 to match the OD 597.I'm not sure when this one came along, but it's a Remington 870 for home defense only. I keep this in my closet, it's never been fired.Ummm... I found this stock in my basement and decided to finish it and de-rice one of my SKSs:+=I don't remember when or the reason why, but I picked up two of these Rock River lowers on the same day and went to town on one with paint and the other was duracoated by someone else: here's the first one being painted: The second one looked like absolute crap. Duracoat's idea of "Magpul Flat Dark Earth" looks nothing like Magpul FDE, so I sold it. I gave up on the remaining FDE project and moved onto something else. Don't know why, but I was sitting around looking at my Saiga one day and decided to take a drill to it and start hacking away. Just my luck, I found a Tapco G2 FCG in my spare parts bin. (that plastic bucket is my spare parts/unfinished projects bucket)Laugh all you want, but I like it. Russian AK w/Chinese AK thumbhole stock and American insides:I did another Saiga, this one is also built with spare parts out of the bucket, but the furniture doesn't match. Black rubber grip, black plastic handguards, and green plastic buttstock with a crappy optic that was mounted to the gun for no other reason than it was in the spare parts bucket:At a gunshow last week, I picked up another lower, it's an AFM, I've never heard of the company, but decided to go for it anyway. I want to build a 6.8SPC AR. The OD Green (left) is 5.56, the FDE (center) will be 5.45x39, and the new one (right) will be all black 6.8SPC. There's one that's not pictured which will be 7.62x39 if Del-Ton ever decides to send me the upper receiver I ordered six months ago.I got a new rail for the FDE, I'm still debating on whether or not I want to paint it to match the receivers. That's it for now, I guess. I'm ambidextrous, but prefer to shoot lefthanded, so in case you're wondering why some of my ARs are lefthanded and some are right, that's why. The 2010 buying season has begun, I don't plan on messing around with ARs anymore. I sold my DPMS LR308 and three 5.56 ARs last year and plan to finish & keep the remaining 5.56, 5.45x39, 6.8, and 7.62x39 then call it good for ARs. What I'm looking at next is bolt action .308s, mainly a Remington 700 and Savage 10, then if I can get the funds together, I want an FN PS90 & FN SCAR.
